Sekumpul and Lemukih/Grombongan waterfall, might be not famous as the other waterfall, but I feel confident to say that it is the most beautiful waterfall here in Bali area - located in Sekumpul village, Sawan subdistrict, Buleleng regency in the northern part of Bali.
To see this natural scenery of waterfall in Bali, you need to be reasonably fit and active to get there as the trek to the waterfall takes around an hour or more, from the parking lot, you need to walk a bit far away down to a dirt road - but do not worry about it because the views during the trek are fantastic - passing across the valley to the terrace rice fields, cocoa and coconut trees, it is so natural and refreshing. For sure it is a long long walk and exhausting but trust me it is very rewarding.
I went to this place with some of my Balinese friends I Putu Rusdi Umbara, Gungde Agung, Satrya Anggara and Mochammad Abdul Asiz - they accompany me to see this wonder nature.
What To See:
Sekumpul consist 2 waterfall - you need walk a bit far from the parking lot, passing through hundreds of stairs (probably around 300-ish) - cross a river and trek through a little jungle before you arrived to this place. Once you arrived to this Sekumpul waterfall, you will see how nature can be amazing - there were rainbow everywhere.
Lemukih consists of 3 waterfall - the characteristics nearly the same as Sekumpul waterfall, you can swim or splash in the pool underneath and become one with nature.
Overall: The best thing about this place is *still* not known to many people, and its like a hidden place that taking you to Jurassic World.
