Ponorogo is most well known for their traditional dance, reog mask dance - it is so famous that this traditional dance become the main identity for Ponorogo regency. But actually Ponorogo is more than that, like this one - Cumbri Hill - Located between Ponorogo and Wonogiri regency standing 638 meter above sea level, Cumbri hill is one of the picturesque hill here in Ponorogo area, from the top you can see rolling hilltops, tea plantations, it is one of the place that makes me feel like inside the story of fairy tales and fantasies.
Cumbri hill is easily accessible it only takes 30-45 minutes to reach to the top, good paths to the summit and the views are surprisingly good, when the day is clear, you can see all the rolling hills from the top - the landscape is lush in most places, the rolling hills are covered with trees, grasses and shrubs, what a beautiful scenery.- I have to say i did not expected to see this kind of view from this hills, the view that Cumbri hill provide exceeds all my expectations.
Went to this place with @Vanderarmando and @Wijapuccino I want to say thank you too all my Ponorogo friends to bring us to this spectacular place! @Abusyiri, @Mickonanda, @Namihays, and @Dodikreza - you guys rock!
The best thing about this place:
1. You don't need much effort to reach the top but the view is splendid,
2. This place is still unknown.
The sad thing about this place:
1. Still unknown yet so many vandalism on the rocks,
2. So many cigarette butt all over the places.
Overall: I am so happy that I got a chance to visit this place - I can see all the area surrounded and covered with lush greeneries, makes me so happy- but I am mad at people who litter, I hate seeing cigarette butts on the ground - I have to say if you drop litter, you are stupid, selfish and thoughtless!
Let me share with you guys one of quote that I like:
"With every breath I take, I breath your air. With every blink of my eyes, I see your beauty. You are powerful yet graceful. You are the reason I live, the reason we all live. We need to heal your wounds. Clean your scrapes, pick up your heart. Mother Earth needs saving and we all can do it." - Unknown
